Who Needs A Vacation When This Dream Job Pays You $50,000 To Work In Hawaii!

When you think Hawaii, you automatically think fantasy island. A place where the vibes are always positive and the views are always stunning. But alas, along with those notions also comes the glum realisation that actually going there on vacation is no mean feat. With the changing times however, there’s a glimmer of hope for people wishing to live in this surfer Shangri-La.

There’s an expected vacancy of around 1600 teachers in Hawaii, and their annual salaries range from $35,324 to $63,665, depending on experience.

This massive opening has come around due to an economic boost in the region as well as the retirement of Baby Boomers, leaving the teaching space wide open for the new generation to get in on the action, in a place people only dream about living in.

There’s also a $3,000 annual bonus you could get if you work in some of the rural areas of the state.

To qualify for these jobs, you need to have completed at minimum a bachelor’s degree and a State Approved Teacher Education Program. Their department of Education is looking for teachers in special education, secondary mathematics, and secondary science.

However, it’s not all rainbows and beaches, as Hawaii is known for its high cost of living. Regardless, living in paradise does balance the scales a little bit.
