Everything turned upside down for Resham Khan on her 21st birthday. She was sitting in a car with her cousin Jameel Muhktar when a man threw acid on both of them in Beckton, east London.
The duo suffered horrific burns and life was never the same for them after that horrifying night.
The attacker marred her body but it didn’t break her spirit.
Resham earlier penned an emotional letter about how the attack left her with an unbearable pain and shattered her dreams of becoming a model.
She also began sharing pictures of her incredible recovery on social media.
Now, four months after the attack, Khan has shared a selfie on Twitter showing her amazing recovery, titled, “Time to stop hiding.”
