If you have ever covered the distance between Visakhapatnam and Araku, you’d be aware of the picturesque route that holds the power of making you feel one with nature.
On Sunday, April 16, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu announced the big news of Vistadome coaches between Visakhapatnam and Araku stations being flagged off for trial runs. And if you look at the pictures, it will be difficult to contain your excitement.
Wondering what is so special about this train? According to reports, this train service for passengers, that is likely to be rolled out by Thursday, not only gives access to a panoramic view of the journey because of its glass-ceiling, but also, has air-conditioned coaches featuring LED lights, rotating and reclining seats, automatic sliding doors and a multi-tier luggage rack.
The photographs of the train were posted by Prabhu on Twitter.

The Economic Times reported that the project costed roughly 4 crores (Indian rupees) for the four coaches that are part of the trial run.
Suresh Prabhu, with The Vistadome in his kitty now, has been a big part of some of the most useful social projects taken up by the government, under his reign. From a women’s safety app, bio-toilets, public WiFi, and braille signage on coaches, among others, he has been able to set a bright example for everyone to follow.
