Sometimes you’ll see them on the streets, at the doors of a dog-shelter or just by the roadside. They wait for a familiar face to come and take them home, cuddle and play with them. But little do they know that they are just disposable items for the humans they love unconditionally.

This is the story of all those innocent dogs, who are left by their owners to fend for themselves. The cases of pet dogs being dumped on the streets by their owners are increasing every day. If they’re lucky enough to be spotted by a dog lover, they are rescued. If not, the helpless animal is left to scrounge for food from the garbage found on streets, develop serious illnesses and live in an absolutely wretched state.

While for some people it may be the lack of funds that forces them to give up their furry friends at a shelter, but there is no excuse for those who buy fancy dogs to show them off as trophies only to get rid of them once they realise the amount of effort that goes into looking after a pooch. It’s incredibly heartbreaking to think about the plight of these innocent dogs, who endlessly wait for their owners to come back and claim them.

This has got to stop. If you can’t handle a dog, just don’t get one. Nothing makes us more mad than seeing innocent dogs paying for the mistakes of their owners!

He’s lucky to have an animal lover take him home, but how many abandoned dogs actually receive this kind of love?

Dogs deserve your unconditional love and care and if you have no intention of treating them like family, you better not bring one home. Period!
