We have a bad habit of eating our lunch at our desks and dinner in our rooms. We can take a cue from them and concentrate more on talking to the people with us, rather than telling the entire world what we are talking about.

We want big cars and fancy houses because that is our definition of living lavishly. The French, well, they believe in simple living. For them, a small cosy three bedroom house is a good as a seven bedroom penthouse, and in many ways, even better. 

 

9. Once in a while, take a walk. 

When was the last time you went for a walk? And by that, I don’t mean the walk from your car to your desk, I mean an actual walk. Well, you don’t remember and frankly neither do I. But that’s not at all the case with the French. Whether it’s getting to work, running an errand or grabbing something from the supermarket, they just love to walk. Follow them and once in a while, ditch the wheels and head out for a stroll.
