Like it or hate it, we can’t deny that modern technology forms a huge chunk out of our daily attention quota. Most of us are from that muddled generation that saw the fastest transition from analog to digital. Phones, tablets and other hand held devices have become our extensions. We squirm uncomfortably when we’re ‘not connected’.

Photographer Eric Pickersgill has released a series of photos from everyday life with one minor adjustment: all electronic devices have been removed.
