Larry Stogner has been working with Raleigh, North Carolina’s WTVD since 1976, hosting the 6pm news. But recently, he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). What’s really ironic, is that he had taken on the ALS ice-bucket challenge last summer, not knowing that he would be diagnosed with the same disease a few months down the line.
