Every year, on the 15th of August and 26th of January, India collectively pays tribute to our war heroes. But here’s a thought, why should there be specific dates to celebrate the achievements of these heroes? Why can’t we cherish them, celebrate them and feel proud of their contribution, all year round?

Fighting a war is never easy. Many soldiers risk their own lives to ensure we sleep peacefully at night. And once the war is over, life after is even harder. Sometimes, patriotism goes beyond the battlefield and it continues for years after a soldier’s service is over. That’s why we need to celebrate these courageous men and women every single day.
