Sources suggest, a CRPF official named Hari Singh was allegedly attacked by RPF personnel and a couple of TTEs on duty on a New Delhi-bound Kerala Express in 2013. Hari was badly wounded so he got down at the Chittoor railway station in the early hours to seek help but he succumbed to his injuries 10 days later in the hospital. Now, it is believed that his spirit haunts this railway station ‘in search of justice.’
10. Barog Station, Shimla
This station is believed to be haunted by the spirit of Colonel Barog who committed suicide after being humiliated in front his colleagues.
British railway engineer, Colonel Barog was given the responsibility of building a tunnel through a mountain but due to certain miscalculations he failed at the task. He committed suicide by shooting at himself, after he was ridiculed and humiliated in front of his workers. Now, it is said that his spirit still wanders around the station and the tunnel. Many passersby have also said that they have felt his presence.
