This Challenge Is The Perfect Way To Start Your New Year Sustainable Goals With A Bang!

Isn’t it astounding how vastly different our definition of technology is in contrast to Boomers, Gen-X, and Millennials? In fact, we GenZers were the first to have entered a world that was fully online. And there’s no denying that we take pride in being tech-savvy and have no trouble navigating the waters of the digital world (It’s like we were born with a silver-grey iPhone instead of a silver spoon).

So naturally, technology is being integrated into every aspect of our lives, including career fields. And whether it is graduating from a university or looking for viable career options, we students are always looking for ways to make use of technology and innovate. One such growing industry where technology is being actively integrated is the field of sustainability and green jobs that strive to provide clean, sustainable energy, thereby positively impacting climate change.

So to suit this very purpose, Dell Futurist has come up with the #TechForGood challenge. Dell Futurist is a program for young and enthusiastic passion-seekers who want to be the best they can be in their chosen field of passion. And their most recent challenge proves to be the perfect opportunity for all the tech enthusiasts out there to ideate and innovate around sustainability and work towards positively impacting the future.

The challenge is super fun and actually quite simple. All you have to do is create a 60-second video, OR a word document, OR a presentation and pitch your idea of a sustainable approach with the obvious use of technology. The pitch will also include answering questions like – What inspired the idea? Which materials will you use to make your product? How is it contributing to a sustainable future? How do you think having access to technology helped in the execution of your idea? Now that sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

But that’s not all! Winners actually stand a chance to attend a 2-day personal workshop and get mentored by well-renowned eco experts in the sustainability field who have started their own ventures. The mentors coming in are Rhea Singhal, the Founder, and CEO of her sustainable venture EcoWare and Udit Singhal, Founder of Glass2Sand and also the youngest UN leader for sustainable goals. Both the mentors have successfully accessed the right technology in order to enhance the field of sustainable development. And Udit’s belief that sustainability is within our grasp is nothing short of inspiring!

This challenge along with the opportunity to get mentored by such well-renowned experts in the sustainability field is truly the perfect way to realize how easily accessible sustainability is. And what better platform than this to convert your ideas to sustainable ventures?

And as important as innovation is, it is also necessary for us to direct them towards shaping a greener and sustainable future where technology and sustainability can coexist.

So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to roll up your sleeves and pull up your socks. Participate in the #TechForGood challenge here and kickstart your journey to a passionate future!
