It’s not necessary that old is always gold. We all have seen how technology evolved over the years.

Just to recall here’s everything that has changed over the last decade.

Gone are the days when we used to rush to our nearest movie parlour to get a DVD of the weekend. Now, Netflix is all we need.

Many would agree that the Apple iPod was one of the most anticipated gadgets that we wanted to have at some point in our lives. However, it all changed with the introduction of high storage smartphones.

If you lived in the time when dial-up connections were all we had, you know how painful it was to connect them.

The old method used to take several attempts to connect us to the World Wide Web, however, mobile internet changed the way we connect to the Internet.

Some say that there are still some dial-up connections out there that are trying to connect.

Though the old watches used to tell just the time, owning an analogue watch from brands like HMT and Sonata back in the mid-2000s was a dream for many but technology evolved and so the watches.

Now a modern-day watch can even perform an ECG.

There was a time when we used to get the earphones bundled with the phones. Times have changed and the brands have stopped giving the earphones.

Now, brands have even removed the 3.5mm headphone jacks from their smartphones.

The USB Mini-B and Micro USB in Nokia phones back in the mid-2000s, that let us connect it to computers, felt like the next big thing. However, with phones like OnePlus 2, the USB Type-C became mainstream and the rest is history.

If you remember the PSP, your childhood was awesome. Back then PSP was every child’s dream, however, smartphones took over later.

There were days when you could send limited messages to your loved ones, but WhatsApp has proved to be a game-changer.

We all have exchanged games and movies over pen drives as the Internet speeds were slow and unreliable, however, everything changed with faster Internet and cloud storage platforms.

We can’t wait to see what the next decade brings to us.
