Remember those old Nokia phones that really stood the test of time? Who can forget the Nokia 3310? We don’t know how Nokia did it and whether it was intentional or not, but that phone is legendary! But the world moved on, and those phones went obsolete. Although, I’m half expecting one phone to ring in some corner of the world like Godzilla’s egg surviving the destruction!
Now we are in the ‘Apple iphones’ era. And as it has been advertised, an iPhone is an iPhone! We shell out a lot of money to buy one. So, it’s only fair that we all wonder how long they are supposed to last! Well, we don’t have to wonder anymore because Apple has just revealed the lifespan of this premium product:
According to Apple, “Daily usage patterns are specific to each product and are a mixture of actual and modeled customer use data. Years of use, which are based on first owners, are assumed to be four years for OS X and tvOS devices and three years for iOS and watchOS devices.”
Most of us buy phones on an annual basis. Either we get bored, are lured with better updates in newer models, or break our phones by dropping them.
Like the saying goes; God made man, man made money, money made man mad and also clumsy AF! So if you want to get your money’s worth, don’t be an idiot & keep that damn phone carefully.
I sincerely hope you aren’t reading this on a broken screen.
