Google Renames ‘Apps for Work’ To ‘G Suite’, Infuses It With More Machine Intelligent Tools

In a blog post, Google today announced that its renaming Google Apps for Work. It will now just be called G Suite.

In case you are wondering, G Suite is Google’s paid collection of apps, meant for business use and educational use, including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Hangouts, etc which most us use everyday.

Google says the new name better reflects its mission to “help people everywhere work and innovate together, so businesses can move faster and go bigger.”

Not just the name, new features are also coming to G Suite including the recently announced intelligent tools

Additionally, Google’s cloud services will now fall under a new ‘Google Cloud‘ brand, including the G Suite, Google Cloud Platform, new machine learning tools and APIs, and all of Google’s Android phones tablets and other devices that access the cloud.
