The volunteer programme for the first FIFA tournament in India has been launched – the perfect time for football fans to be involved in an event which will bring home some of the biggest stars of the future.

The first ever global football tournament in India takes place across 6 cities between 6 and 28 October 2017 and hopes to involve as many people as possible. Imagine being the ball-boy who once saw Francesco Totti or Gianluigi Buffon or Lionel Messi from close quarters – you could be that person too, with the U17 World Cup being a breeding ground for some of the biggest names in football.

The program will have a strong emphasis on diversity and gender equality, welcoming candidates from all sections of the society. Applicants who can’t be physically available during the tournament at its six main venues can become e-volunteers and spread the competition’s message digitally.

The application process is open until May 15.
