Virat Kohli Postpones Indian Sports Honours As A Mark Of Respect For Our Slain Soldiers

Indian Sports Honours, an event held by Virat Kohli foundation and RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, was postponed by the cricketer in light of the Pulwama terror attack that claimed lives of more than 40 soldiers

Announcing the same, Virat tweeted:

He had earlier expressed his condolences after the unfortunate incident. 

With Indian Sports Honours, Virat celebrates sporting talent every year through his foundation, which also gives scholarships to young athletes who do not have enough money to pursue their passion. 

This gesture by Virat and his message were both well received by his fans on Twitter. 

Pulwama attack happened on 14th of February and claimed lives of at least 40 CRPF jawans, while injuring many.
