Virat Kohli Has Now Broken Bradman & Dravid’s Record With His 4th Test Double Century!

Just how do you contain Virat Kohli in this form?

The Indian captain created history on Friday with his fourth double century in Test cricket, becoming the first batsman in the game’s history to do so in four consecutive series.

Starting with his first 200 in West Indies in 2016, Kohli has scored a double century against New Zealand, England and now Bangladesh to go where no batsman has gone before — not even Sir Don Bradman.

In fact, Bradman and Rahul Dravid are the only other batsmen to have scored double centuries in three consecutive Test series.

Kohli, who started with an overnight score of 111, raced to his fourth double hundred, starting the day with a flurry of boundaries. The feat came just after lunch on day 2, with a lofted cover drive for four.

But for fans who were expecting a triple century, the wait will continue as he got out soon after on 204, given LBW when replays showed the ball was hitting outside off stump. The captain, however, chose not to review.

Here are some of the other records Kohli broke on yet another red letter day for him in Test cricket.

It’s become a cliche now, but: What. A. Player.
