Virat Kohli Forgets Anil Kumble On Teachers Day & Twitter Took His Class

India skipper Virat Kohli took to Twitter on Teachers Day to thank the ‘teachers’ who inspired him as a cricketer.

Kohli tweeted a picture on September 5 and in the backdrop of the picture, one can see names of various cricketing greats like Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Shaun Pollock, Adam Gilchrist, Steve Waugh, Viv Richards, Brian Lara, Javed Miandad and others. However, one name which was missing from the picture was that of former India captain and coach Anil Kumble.

The fans noticed the omission and it didn’t go down well with them.

Kumble had controversially stepped down as India coach in June 2017. The former leg-spinner later claimed that he decided to move on as his partnership with Kohli had become untenable.
