India are on top of the world in Kabaddi yet again.

In a brilliant second half performance, India staged a memorable comeback to beat Iran 38-29 to win the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad.

India beat a resolute Iran side to become the world champions a third straight time, maintaining their dominance in the sport.

The tributes poured in on Twitter as Ajay Thakur led India with several brilliant raids to hand them the title.

Amitabh Bachchan, for one, could not control his excitement!

Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag joined in as well.
