Twitter Hails King Kohli As He Becomes The First Indian To Smash 7 Double Centuries

Virat Kohli became the Indian with most double hundreds by scoring a 200+ score for the 7th time today. In the process, he broke the record previously held by Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.

Playing the second Test against South Africa in Pune, Kohli is unbeaten at 230* as we report this news.

Virat is now the only captain in the history to hit 7 double centuries. Brian Lara, with 5, stands second.

And while being at it, Virat has also reached the milestone of 7000 runs in Test cricket, while becoming the first cricketer to hit a double ton against 6 different opponents. 

Well, the records just keep raining for King Kohli. Never a dull moment with the captain on the crease.
