His name is Tabraiz Shamsi, and he has now switched to magic tricks to celebrate dismissals.

Tabraiz, who plays for Paarl Rocks in South Africa’s Mzansi Super League, pulls out his handkerchief and turns it into a ‘magic wand’ – the videos of which are understandably going viral on the internet now.

Most recently, it was after getting the wicket of David Miller who plays for Durban Heat.

When asked about the same, Tabraiz said he loves to entertain people on the field and it becoming a magician was a childhood dream of his.

I have always been fascinated by magic and different tricks. From the age of about 15 or 16, I wanted to become a magician as it was a hobby of mine. Entertaining on the field is just my way of taking the pressure off myself and being able to enjoy things. I feel like when I am myself, I am able to play my best cricket.
