RCB Smash KKR In Rain-Curtailed Match

Mandeep Singh played the innings of his life as he powered Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 7-wicket win over defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders in a rain curtailed match.

Heavy rain forced the umpires to shorten the match to a 10-over game and Andre Russell (17-ball 45) took it upon himself to give KKR a strong total of 111/4.

RCB have the most brutal opening pair and it paid-off as Chris Gayle (21 off 9) and Virat Kohli (34 off 20) gave the hosts a perfect platform to tee off.

But AB de Villiers’s failure gave KKR the edge and RCB needed an outstanding knock by Mandeep (45* off 18) to give them their fourth win of the season!
