MS Dhoni, Sunil Narine Dominate Twitter Cricket Index This Week

West Indian cricketer Sunil Narine struck IPL’s fastest fifty in 15 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore to help Kolkata Knight Riders win the match by six wickets on Sunday.

The blistering knock that enabled KKR to qualify for playoffs generated the most conversation on Twitter and emerged as the top moment on Twitter cricket index for week 5 of IPL 2017.

Narine’s fifty beat Rishabh Pant’s 43-ball 97 against Gujarat Lions which helped Delhi Daredevils chase down a steep target of 209. Other events that dominated the moments included, end of the first innings of Mumbai Indians scoring 212/3 against Delhi Daredevils, Jaidev Unadkat’s hat-trick maiden for Rising Pune Supergiant against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Hashim Amla’s second century of this IPL season.

Former India skipper and RPS player MS Dhoni topped the Twitter IPL player emoji leaderboard. Dhoni was followed by Ben Stokes, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh.
