The Proteas seemed to have choked quite early, reeling at 83/4 in their World Cup opener. But Miller scored 138 not out and Duminy cracked an unbeaten 115 to power South Africa to 339/4.

Their partnership of 256 off just 178 deliveries is a world-record stand for the 5th wicket.

Chasing that mammoth total, Zimbabwe never looked comfortable. Hamilton Masakadza scored a fighting 80 but his team was wrapped up for 277/10. South Africa won by 62 runs.
