MI Dominate SRH To Finish 2nd In League

Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad were involved in a virtual quarterfinal and MI’s experience of playing in big matches helped them secure a 9-wicket thrashing of SRH.

SRH batsmen had absolutely no answer to the pace and bounce of Mitchell McClenaghan (3/16) and Lasith Malinga (2/17) and were bowled out for just 113.

MI openers Parthiv Patel (51*) and Lendl Simmons (48) aggravated Hyderabad’s misery and completed the most one-sided match of the year.

Rohit Sharma’s men have a knack of surprising everyone as after starting their IPL 8 campaign with four consecutive losses, nobody would have expected them to finish second in the league.
