Chase master Virat Kohli produced another gem of an innings to help India beat Sri Lanka in the one-off T20I at Colombo. Skipper Kohli made 82 as India chased down 171 with seven wickets in hand to inflict 9-0 whitewash over the islanders on the tour.
With the innings of 82, Kohli also surpassed Brendon McCullum’s record of most runs (1006) in T20Is while chasing. The Delhi lad was well assisted by Manish Pandey, who struck his maiden T20I fifty.
Team India for the first time have registered an all-win record across formats in an overseas tour.
