Kohli Misses Out On Back-To-Back Hundreds

Indian captain Virat Kohli missed a golden opportunity to get back-to-back Test hundreds as he was dismissed for 78 in India’s first innings of the second Test against Sri Lanka.

Kohli, who scored 103 in the opening Test at Galle, was looking good to get his second in as many Tests. It would have been his 12 th Test ton.

India were in trouble at 12/2 when Kohli walked out to bat and had an important partnership of 164 runs with Lokesh Rahul for the 4 th wicket to get the hosts out of trouble.
