Indian Women Claim ODI Series Against Sri Lanka

The Indian women’s cricket team is in high spirits after their impressive tour Down Under and they continued their good run claiming the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka women with one match to go.

India got 1-0 up after claiming the first battle by 89 runs and sealed the series in the second ODI successfully chasing down 189 runs with 42 balls to spare.

India skipper Mithali Raj guided the chase with an unbeaten 53 and was ably supported by Smriti Mandhana (46) and Harmanpreet Kaur (41).

The final ODI will be played on Feb. 19 and the team will be looking to complete the whitewash going into the T20 Women’s World Cup.
