India Creates History Again, Wins Maiden Bilateral ODI Series In Australia To End Tour On A High

Ira Shukla

The Men in Blue have done it again.

After winning the first-ever Test series Down Under, they have now clinched their maiden bilateral ODI series in Australia.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s brilliant spell of 6/42, helped the side bundle out the hosts for 230 runs, which was never an unachievable target.

Add to that the excellence of MS Dhoni and a few fielding errors from the Australian side and there you have it, history being made right in front of our eyes.

The former captain did not let his fans down and scored brilliant 87 runs to make things easy for the side.

He was ably supported by Kedhar Jadhav, who scored an unbeaten 61 in 57 balls.

This has been a historic tour for India in every sense of the word, with the side returning without a single series defeat, across formats. Hoping to see more of this new found excellence, soon!
