Earlier, we had brought to you the legendary Shoaib Akhtar’s assessment of how the current crop of Pakistani World Cuppers were faring at the tournament in Australia. You can check out the video here .

After being knocked out of the World Cup at the quarter-final stage, their captain Misbah-Ul-Haq has decided that enough is enough. Widely known as the ‘Monk of Pakistan Cricket’, there was nothing monkish about Misbah when he slammed ‘TV experts’ like Shoaib Akhtar. He blasted them for the coarse language used to describe the team’s performance when they were in the middle of the biggest tournament in the sport. He also questioned how the media houses felt such language was permissible on prime time, and wondered aloud why he was being made the scapegoat for everything wrong with Pakistan cricket.
