Remember when Pranav Dhanawade who scored an unbelievable 1009* in 323 balls and the cricketing world went nuts? Well, a Delhi cricketer just did something as incredible if not more.

In a mind-boggling feat, Delhi’s Mohit Ahlawat smashed an incredible unbeaten 300 off just 72 balls, hitting an unbelievable 39 sixes and 14 boundaries in a Twenty20 match at Lalita Park in Delhi.

The 21-year-old Ahlawat, who has played three first-class games for Delhi, was playing for Maavi XI against Friends XI in the Friends Premier League. In those three matches for Delhi in Ranji Trophy in the 2015-16 season, the wicket-keeper batsman managed just five runs.

Wicket-keeper batsman Ahlawat also punished the rival bowlers with 14 fours as his side put on board 416 for two in 20 overs and won the match by 216 runs.

Just as a caveat, the size of the ground and quality of bowlers though is unknown but that should take little away from an innings that will shoot Ahlawat into the national limelight.

Here is the scorecard of the match:

The current international record in T20 cricket is a mere 175 that Chris Gayle scored in the IPL in 2013.
