The Australia T20 league, Big Bash League, introduced LED Bails in their 2012 edition. These battery powered bails light up when dislodged from the wickets. The Zing wicket LED lights can determine when the wicket is broken and completely dislodged from the stumps, helping third umpires in their decisions.
