Team India arrived at Dharamsala, the venue of the first T20 against South Africa on October 2, to get themselves accustomed to the cold conditions.
It is believed that team director Ravi Shastri wanted the team to reach the venue in advance so that the group can get into grove.
India will face South Africa in 3 T20Is, a 5-match ODI series and a 4-match Test series and starting well is going to be crucial for the Men in Blue.
