Kejriwal Urges All Media Channels To Go Off Air For A Day In Solidarity With NDTV

Information & Broadcasting ministry’s order of a day-long black out of NDTV India for its coverage of the Pathankot terrorist attack has shocked one and all. 

Reacting to the same, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said he hoped the media channels across the country will go off air for a day to express their solidarity with the Hindi news channel. 

This is what he tweeted: 

The CM also hailed the Editors Guild of India for taking a tough stand against the ban in which they have likened the government’s extreme move to censorship during emergency

Several other politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee and Omar Abdullah have also condemned the move on Twitter.
