In a fresh round of allegations against AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Kapil Mishra submitted documents related to the water tanker scam to the Anti-corruption Branch (ACB), alleging that Kejriwal deliberately postponed the probe in the case to save Sheila Dikshit.

Mishra also said that he has sought an appointment with the CBI for Tuesday to register a complaint.

Mishra on Sunday accused Kejriwal of taking Rs 2 crore from Delhi health Minister Satyendra Jain. While AAP denied the allegations, India Today reports that Mishra might make some ‘big announcement’ today.

After his meeting with the anti-corruption branch, Kapil Mishra told ANI, “Now I have become a complainant and a witness in the water tanker scam, and how (Arvind) Kejriwal and two his aides (Ashish Talwar and Vibhav Kumar) tried to scuttle the investigation and tried to save Sheila Dikshit.”

Mishra in a series of tweets also alleged, “how Jain has benefited close relatives of Mr Kejriwal in illegal land deals”.

Meanwhile, amidst the growing dramatic developments, the AAP’s high-powered Political Affairs Committee (PAC) chaired by Kejriwal on Monday suspended Mishra from the party’s primary membership.

Hitting out at Mishra for his allegations, both Jain and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that he had “lost his mental balance” and levelling “baseless allegations”. “PAC is going on, even the embers in the funeral pyre of someone, have not gone cold, and allegation is being made in his name. Has the humanity died? Such baseless charge. Get some evidence,” Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.

Under the prevelant circumstances, Kejriwal on Monday tweeted,” truth will triumph. Its beginning will be made during the special session of the Delhi Assembly tomorrow.”

Fighting off the top brass of the party, Mishra in a series of tweets also targeted Kejriwal and Jain.

Mishra in an open letter addressed to Kejriwal also writes, “you know the truth. I know you will attack me, frame me and try to trap me in a chakravyuh of lies and deceit. But I need your blessings as I am going to file an FIR against you.”
