Just Human’s New Campaign Is Asking Us To Stop The Spread Of Both Disease And Discrimination!

Ever since we were kids, we’ve been taught to not judge a book by its cover. Our books, elders, and teachers have always inculcated the idea of inclusivity in our minds. Yet, at every stage of life, we have either faced discrimination or see it happen. Or worse, done it. And as we know it, humanity has always suffered when such disparities have prevailed in the society.

Amidst all this, we had a sanitizer brand—Just Human that was born out of the humanity that we speak of. Their sanitizers provide with 24 hours of protection against a wide range of pathogens. The brand believes that after all, we are “Just Human” beyond these superficial norms, and aspire to “live a limitless life”. To propagate this idea of inclusivity, they even came up with a campaign— I AM JUST HUMAN. It focuses on spreading awareness and create inclusivity in today’s highly polarized world with the idea that eventually we are all ‘Just Human’ regardless of our physical and superficial differences.

The campaign is about accepting and celebrating the differences, rather than fighting over them. The idea is to share these unique attributes and grow stronger in the process. The brand very efficiently brings out the impact of our shallow “advices” to people. Some of these advices are often disguised as mere concerns. Things like, ‘maybe you should start going to the gym, it’s gonna be good for you’, ‘you should wear dark colors that complement your skin’. Such unaware and prejudiced statements stick around with people for practically all their lives!

Just Human tries to expose how these subtle social constructs- are restrictive and orthodox.Their campaign is a first expression of their beliefs and values. They are providing a platform for people to voice their stories of discrimination by using the #IAmJustHuman on social media. To amplify the word, many celebrities like Swara Bhasker, Chang, Bharti Singh, Kamya Punjabi , Daisy Shah, Sushant, Ankita Rai, Bani J & Anupria Goenka have joined hands with them, and shared their stories of discrimination in their lives.

Just Human highlights how in order to ‘live a limitless life’, we need to stand against this discrimination. The brand wants to spread awareness and bring inclusivity in today’s world with the ethos that eventually we all are “ Just Human”. It points out the implicit sense of urgency of bringing this change in society. Diseases don’t discriminate , Neither should we. You too can share your stories of discrimination by using the hashtag #IAmJustHuman. Check out more on the campaign on their Instagram

Guess it’s about time we take the hint?
