As the situation at JNU remains tense days after anti-national slogans were raised at an event for Afzal Guru, a video showing four members of the ABVP shouting pro-Pakistan slogans has surfaced on the social media.

The video titled “The Conspiracy” points out four students, who are later seen at ABVP demonstrations, shouting “Pakistan Zindabad”. This comes after Left-wing students groups alleged that members of ABVP at the event shouted anti-India slogans, prompting others including outsiders in the crown to follow suit.

Meanwhile the ABVP went ahead and dismissed all accusations saying, “these are all tactics to tarnish our image and attack us as we have objected to their anti-national activities. The video has been morphed only to defame us and spread false information”.

While university authorities have still not said anything about those spotted in the clip being ABVP members, students and teachers at JNU formed a human chain to demand the release of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar.

On the other hand, Kanhaiya’s father alleged that his son was being framed in the case for his stand against Hindutva politics.
