Chandrayaan-2: Twitter Smells Envy As NASA Praises Itself In Its Congratulatory Tweet To ISRO

On July 22, 2019, the Indian Space Research Organisation successfully launched India’s second moon mission, Chandrayaan-2, from Sriharikota.

With the launch, India became the fourth nation, after the US, Russia, and China, to pull off a soft landing on the moon. As congratulations poured in from across the world, NASA also commended ISRO for successfully pulling off the launch. 

However, Twitterati called out NASA’s apparent ‘compliment’, that appeared to cater more to their own capabilities, and less on ISRO’s remarkable achievement:
