This cool gadget that is the new talk of the town that literally creates water out of thin air. And it can be the best buddy for your cycle.

Confused about what we are talking about? Vienna based designer, Kristof Retezár has invented this new device, called Fontus that can extract water vapour from air and condense it into drinkable water.

It can be attached to a bike so that cyclists can generate water during long-distance rides.

So, how does it work?

This light and handy gadget collects moisture contained in the air and condenses it into water. And it’s absolutely safe to drink. It works by cooling a series of hydrophobic surfaces that repel the condensed water, causing it to flows into an attached bottle. Given the right climactic conditions, it can produce 500 ml every hour.

It unfortunately works best in areas where humidity is high.
