This FB Event Is Asking Delhiites To Stay At Home To Protest The Air Pollution Crisis

Sumedha Tripathi

If you are not living under a rock then you must be well aware of the ghastly air pollution that has spread across the national capital. The AQI has reached emergency levels and is severely affecting people’s health in and around Delhi NCR.

Gstatic

So while the city’s AQI is literally a national emergency at the moment, the government has still not taken any measures to reduce the effects of this catastrophic condition. In fact, the government gives ZERO shit about this crisis.

Now since the elected officials are doing absolutely nothing about it, the aam janta had to take matters in their own hands, yet again. A group created a Facebook event called ‘Stay at Home Delhi – 18.11.2019’ and has invited everyone to stay at home and not go to offices and schools as part of their peaceful protest.
