Anything Rahul Gandhi does gets everyone talking. Just a day after his 46th birthday, the Congress vice president tweeted on Monday that he would be travelling out of the country for a “short visit”, but as usual did not say where he was going.
As usual, Rahul’s tweet has set off wild speculation on social media about the choice of his holiday destination. This was also perhaps one of the few times he took to Twitter to make his travel plans public.
So obviously people jumped in to ask where he was headed:
Some questioned if he was getting the timing of the trip right given the Congress party’s present condition
And then there were those who were just having fun at his expense
