If the person doesn’t mend his / her ways and is found dumping the waste into the river for the second time, slap a financial penalty of ₹10,000. If the person repeats it for the third time, slap a fine of ₹50,000 on him.
There are penalties for dumping waste in canals, too. Anyone found dumping waste in them will be slapped with a fine of ₹1,000, ₹20,000 and ₹50,000 on first, second and third instances, respectively.
