NRI Student Donates Rs 18,000 Prize Money To PM Modi For The Indian Army Welfare Fund

An NRI student from Kuwait has donated his entire prize money towards the Indian Army Welfare Fund.

Riddhiraj Kumar presented a cheque of ₹18,000 to President Narendra Modi. The student had won it in the Australian Council for Education Research’s International Bench Mark Test for Improving Learning Award for Excellence.

Riddhiraj, who studies at the Indian Educational School in Kuwait, excelled in Maths and Science in the Middle East. This is why he won the excellence award worth 80 Kuwait Dinars. That translates to  ₹18,000 in INR.

The 9-year-old met the PM with his mother on Thursday.
