Just a day after BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya claimed Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan lived in India but has ‘his mind in Pakistan’, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath launched a fresh attack on the actor saying ‘there is no difference in language used by film actor Shah Rukh Khan and terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed’.

Adityanath refused to c omment on his party colleague Vijayvargiya, who later withdrew his tweets on the actor, and instead compared SRK with Saeed.

Bahusankhyak samaj ke dwara unki filmon ke dekhne ke karan hi woh mashoor hain (it is because the majority population watches his movies that he has become famous),” he said.

He also took a moment to slam writers who have returned their awards , saying, “Under the garb of secularism, some writers and artists of leftist mindset have joined anti-national elements. They (writers and artists) are speaking the language of terror.” “These voices are not anti-BJP but anti-national. Unfortunately, Shah Rukh Khan has also joined the brigade,” Adityanath said. He said SRK’s statement amounts to treason and it was a conspiracy to sully the nation’s image.

Incidentally, Saeed, who is the head of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa in Pakistan, had earlier said if Shah Rukh Khan does not feel safe in India, he can come to Pakistan.

“I welcome him; I will help him with his stay here,” he had told Express News .

Sayeed, who is accused of masterminding multiple terror attacks in India including the 26/11 strikes in 2008, also added further fuel to the fire on Wednesday. He tweeted that Khan and any other Muslims in India who felt victimised by the present BJP government could move to Pakistan.
