North Korea Allegedly Executes 2 Officials By Blowing Them Up With Anti-Aircraft Gun

SW Staff

Most people not in North Korea consider dictator Kim Jong Un a pretty crazy guy despite his nation’s people thinking otherwise and him looking like this:

But a fresh report about two senior government officials being executed purely because they were perceived as a threat to him only reaffirms the reputation that he has slowly built for himself.

A South Korean daily, the JoongAng Ilbo has reported that former agriculture minister Hwang Min and Ri Yong Jin, a senior official at the education ministry, had been executed. By blowing them up with anti-aircraft guns.

Yes, you read that right. Anti-aircraft guns.

While the former agriculture minister is said to have been seen as a threat to the dictator, the education department official was allegedly being punished for nodding off during a meeting with the great leader.

Reuters points out the report couldn’t be verified and some previous media reports of executions and purges North Korea have proved to inaccurate.

But it’s not like executions don’t take place because the benevolent dictator isn’t happy with you. His uncle, Jang Song Thaek, who was second in command was famously executed in in 2012 just a year after helping Kim to the top after being charged with “crimes damaging to the economy.” He was executed by firing squad though some reports had wrongly said he was fed to 120 dogs

But former defence minister, Hyun Yong Chol, who was executed last year after being accused of treason, was also allegedly executed by anti-aircraft gun though it couldn’t be verified.
