Netflix Has Launched In India. Here’s How The Twitterati Responded To It

Netflix has been officially launched in India – with plans starting at 500 rupees ($7.50) per month, as the U.S.-based video streaming company pushes ahead with its global expansion plans.

Initially, the company will introduce basic plans; Rs 500 per month for access on 1 SD screen. It will also offer Rs. 650 per month for HD content on 2 screens at a time, and Rs. 800 per month for 4K content on up to 4 screens simultaneously. Netflix can be accesed via its website or the Netflix apps on , iOS, Windows, and other platforms.

This has drawn a mixed response from different corners on Twitter. Most of them seem happy with the arrival of Netflix.
