National Geographic Filmed A Glow-In-The-Dark Sea Turtle Flaunting Red, Neon & Green

David Gruber, marine biologist at City University Of New York, was filming bio fluorescence in small sharks and coral reefs in the Solomon Islands. During the shoot he saw an amazing sea turtle that came out of nowhere.

National Geographic mentioned on its website that it looked like a big spaceship that glided into the view, like an alien craft with a patchwork of neon green and red all over its head and body. Gruber followed the turtle for a short while but after a few moments he let it go because he didn’t want to harass the animal.
