Man Allegedly Shoots Wife Dead On The Suspicion That She Sent Money To Her Parents

A man has allegedly shot dead his wife at a village in Madhya Pradesh on the suspicion that she used to send money to her parents, following which he was arrested, police said on Saturday. 

The incident took place on Friday night in Jouri Ahir village after they the couple had a scuffle over suspicion that the deceased used to send money to her parents, Bhind SP, Navneet Bhasin said.

The accused, identified as Arvind Singh Yadav (50) shot dead his wife Geeta (47) with his 12-bore license gun, he said. On the statement of victim’s son, police arrested Arvind and seized his licensed gun, the SP said, adding that a case of murder is registered against the accused.
