In yet another unusual way of displaying love towards their leader, supporters of deceased Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa sculpted a gaint idli in the shape of Jayalalithaa’s face.

The idli was showcased on the Marina Beach in Chennai on Tuesday.

However, there was no word on what will happen to the idolized idli.

Here’s the video of the event

This is not the first time that the supporters of Jayalalithaa, who died on December 5, are paying tribute to her in a rather strange way.

On Monday, Jayalalithaa’s party AIADMK said 597 people have died so far in Tamil Nadu after they were “unable to bear” the demise of the highly popular chief minister.

It also announced relief of Rs 3 lakh each to the bereaved families.
