ISIS Leader Baghdadi’s Call To Arms Turns Into A Hilarious Twitter Battle

SW Staff

Days after Islamic State released a new audio message purportedly of its leader challenging the US and its allies to confront his extremist group on the ground in Iraq and Syria, an open call by the extremist group’s leader to join them turned into a hilarious Twitter troll for the group and its ideology.

In the 24-minute audio, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had said the US won’t come to fight the extremists because “their hearts are full of fear from the mujahideen.”

And when the call for asking every Muslim to join the fight from the group was announced on social media, here’s what happened:

Noticeably, many of the users mocking the group for its brazen violence and ideology were Muslims, who tauntingly told the ISIS leader that they were busy with Christmas holidays. Others took a dig at the rising oil prices being the reason for not being able to come as far as Syria and join the group.

Even the Star Wars found mention in the barrage of tweets directed at the group with many users saying they can’t afford to miss the upcoming movie series. Many cited their tight schedule hampering them to join ISIS.

What’s your reason of not joining the ISIS?
