Indian Women’s Junior Hockey Team Goes Chak De As They Crush Singapore 12-0

The Indian women’s junior hockey team are on a roll in the Junior Hockey Asia Cup tournament underway in Changzhou, China, and Singapore just got hit hard by their surge forward. After demolishing DPR Korea with a 13-0 scoreline, the girls from India thrashed Singapore 12-0 on Sunday.

During the first half Punam and Anupa Barla along with Preeti Dubey and Jaspreet Kaur tore Singapore’s defence apart, later Lily Chani and Gurjit Kaur continued the dream run in the second half.

With a quarter of the game to go, Lilima Minz hit a seventh for India, and it was in this last quarter that the Indian side thundered to 12-0. The dazzling feat comes in a series of victories, which have taken forward the Indian team’s spectacular campaign in the tournament.
